Procon Mining & Tunnelling Ltd. (Procon) is a successful Canadian mining contractor with sites across Canada. We specialize in above-ground infrastructure, contract mining, underground excavations, civil tunneling and construction.

Requirements:
• Reporting to the Project Superintendent, the successful candidate will provide accurate line and grade for development along with other site construction activities as needed. The Surveyor will also update survey files and issue reports from site;
• 5-10 years surveying experience (underground);
• The Surveyor must have a working knowledge of computers, survey software (AutoCAD), and MS Office software. The Surveyor must also be able to operate Total Station survey instruments in the field;
• A mining technical diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities: 
• The Surveyor will ensure that data is accurate by using proper surveying principles and survey station data;
• Liase with the Production Superintendent or Crew Supervision to determine survey requirements on a day by day, shift by shift basis;
• Provides the site layouts and update as built development against planned development on an on-going basis;
• Successfully follow all Procon’s safety programs in the field at all times.
