Mine Rescue
Procon prides itself on its ability to supply first class mine rescue teams, equipment and training. Procon can provide all aspects of mine rescue components to ensure the safety of underground workers and the property itself, such as:

Creation of mine rescue programs, policies and protocols;
- Portable or permanent mine rescue facilities;
- Suitable mine rescue apparatus to fit the needs of the client/contract;
- Training on the apparatus and equipment;
- Training in the relevant provincial, territorial and or national mine rescue standards; and
- Periodic testing and audits of the mine rescue program to ensure effectiveness.
Our Mine Rescue Training Area, located at our Heavy Equipment Facility in Nisku, Alberta, supplies our field Mine Rescue teams with world class equipment and service. Provincial Mine Rescue training for Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Yukon, Ontario, Northwest Territories and Nunavut is periodically performed by our own Mine Rescue Trainers here to ensure our workers training is current. Procon also has 2 Draeger Technicians on hand at all times at this facility to perform service work and ship new or rebuilt equipment to site in a days notice.
