Procon is currently seeking qualified Raise/Alimak Miners:

Requirements:
• Good physical condition;
• 3-5 years’ experience in underground operations specifically in drift, ramp, stope, raise and construction mining;
• Blasting Certificate and first aid is an asset;
• Successful candidate(s) are expected to adhere to company safety policies & procedures at all times.

Responsibilities:
• Understand the mining methods used at the location. Comply with company policies and work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
• Operate Alimak, install Alimak rails and supports as the face advances;
• Maintain, install and operate all necessary equipment;
• Ensure personal protection equipment is used at all times;
• Other duties required and as qualified.
