Kumtor Mine Project

Procon has completed development of approximately 2,500 metres of underground exploration decline under an existing open pit in a remote location at a 4,000 metre elevation in the Tien Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia. Work was completed using expatriate labour who in turn trained local national labour in the necessary mining skills.
