Procon, along with our joint venture partner KeTe Whii Ltd., have been at the Ekati Mine in the Northwest Territories since 2000. Work started with the development of the Koala North Mine and has continued with the underground development of the Panda and Koala Mines. The Ekati Mine Site is deep in Canada’s far north so working conditions can be harsh, including driving ramps and levels in permafrost. KeTe Whii / Procon provide development and production expertise and personnel at the multi-mine site.
