Procon Mining & Tunnelling Ltd. (Procon) is a successful Canadian mining contractor with sites across Canada. We specialize in above-ground infrastructure, contract mining, underground excavations, civil tunneling and construction.

Requirements:
• Good physical condition;
• 3-5 years’ experience in underground operations specifically in drift, ramp, stope;
• Blasting Certificate and first aid is an asset;
• Successful candidate(s) are expected to adhere to company safety policies & procedures at all times.

Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate Jumbo to produce a designated pattern;
• Operate equipment within the proper parameters;
• Perform maintenance and general repairs in the field;
• Work closely with other development crew members to create and maintain a synergy required to accomplish the shift lineup in the cycle;
• Understand the company Health and Safety policies and works in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
• Utilize the safety systems in place as specified within corporate management system.
