Procon Mining & Tunnelling Ltd. (Procon) is a successful Canadian mining contractor with job sites across Canada. We specialize in above-ground infrastructure, contract mining, underground excavations, civil tunneling and construction. We are privately held and have an ambitious growth plan for 2017 and beyond.

This key leadership position reports to the GM, Industrial and is central to both our business development and execution of projects. The right candidate will have post-secondary education in business, engineering, and a PMP designation. With at least 5 years’ experience in mining, general contracting or construction, you will also have excellent project management skills and supervisory experience is an asset.
Project Managers are responsible for the safe and profitable execution of projects ranging in value from $50K to $50 Million. You will have greater than 5 years of mining &/or industrial construction experience, including knowledge of construction involving mines, concrete, structural steel, hoisting devices, pumps, and fans. You are already a P. Eng and/or PMP or on your way to obtaining same. Your computer skills are state of the art and you have excellent communication and people management skills.
Responsible for supporting the Project Manager and working with the Construction Manager and operations team, the Project Coordinator is central to the execution of our work. They handle all aspects of the back-end of the work, from receiving materials and processing invoices, to completing progress reports and ensuring billing is accurate. They are Project Managers in training and are expected to learn and grow with Procon as we grow. You have a post-secondary education in mining or engineering and are looking to grow your career.
