Requirements:
• Good physical condition;
• 3-5 years’ experience in underground operations specifically in drift, ramp, stope, raise and construction mining;
• Blasting Certificate and first aid is an asset;
• Successful candidate(s) are expected to adhere to company safety policies & procedures at all times.

Responsibilities:
• Understand the mining methods used at the location. Comply with company policies and work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
• Operate equipment within the proper parameters;
• Work closely with other crew members to create and maintain a synergy required to accomplish the shift line up in the cycle;
• Ensure applicable procedures and work standards for all tasks are understood adhered to and complied at all times for all such work;
• Utilize the safety system as specified with the corporate safety management system.

Perform any one or more of these tasks:
• Drilling and blasting;
• Ground Support;
• Mucking;
• Construction;
• Other duties as required.
