Chief Electrician

Move into a fantastic role with one of Canada’s leading Underground Contracting Companies.  Working out of our brand new shop in Nisku, Alberta, which houses more than 250 pieces of gear for the Procon fleet.
Procon is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chief Electrician to join our team in Nisku, Alberta.

Duties:

• Ensure all Electrical Maintenance works are carried out in line with relevant plans.
• Planning Electrical Projects
• Installation/Commissioning of new equipment
• Development of electrical budgets
• Assist with any electrical issues across Procon’s  platform of contact sites
• Design and assist with electrical draft structures

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certification as a Journeyman Electrician
• Five or more years of related experience is preferred
• Underground mining experience
• Experience with equipment operation and commissioning
• Strong Communication skills
