The Equipment Division was created to facilitate the supply of equipment and parts
to Procon job sites, keeping costs down for our clients.
With over 250 pieces of underground mobile gear including drill jumbos, scooptrams,
haul trucks, mechanized bolters, and shotcrete equipment (to name a few) we have
the largest owned fleet in the business giving us the unparalleled ability to immediately
mobilize for your project. This fleet is supported with several hundred pieces of
ancillary gear including generators, compressors, substations, pumps, and surface
mobile gear.

Employing over 40 mechanical and electrical trades personnel in a new 40,000 square
foot facility, the Equipment Division has expanded its mandate from maintaining
the company’s extensive equipment fleet to providing economic overhaul and rebuild
services to the mining, industrial, construction, pipeline, and logging industries.
Procon Equipment can be broken down into 5 specialized sections; electrical, mechanical,
welding & fabrication, machining, and warehousing.

- Mine production equipment rebuild and overhaul (including drill jumbos, scooptrams, haulage trucks, loaders, longhole and bolting rigs, underground service vehicles, generators, compressors, and pumps)
- Design and manufacture of custom equipment for specialty applications
- Conversion and upgrading of heavy equipment
- Equipment maintenance including fleet service contracts
- Heavy equipment repair, overhaul, modification, and mechanical evaluation
- Canadian Welding Bureau Certified
- Procurement, sales and rental of heavy equipment parts and components
- Rebuild and reconditioning of heavy equipment components
- Custom designed electrical systems
- Equipment wiring harness manufacturing
- Design/fabrication of certified FOPS/ROPS canopies
- Frame modifications and refurbishing
- Non-destructive testing of equipment and components
- Structural engineering certification
- Manufacture of pins and bushings
- Line boring
- Trades’ status kept current with in-house training
- Marshalling and inventorying for mobilization onto remote, isolated projects
- Supply of contract labour to meet industry mechanical welding and machining requirements
